Dissected Flowers - this mixed media series brings us face to face with the necessary, but often overlooked relation between insects and flowers. The flowers themselves are separating into their components to indicate the continual change throughout their life cycle, some of which can not happen without the appropriate insect intervention.

In my father’s last years, suffering from Parkinson’s disease and dementia, he often saw strange figures around him and frequently described them in detail. This piece depicts one of those visions.
